E-2 Investor Visa
An E2 visa is appropriate for nationals of countries who have commerce and navigation treaties with the United States and are entering the United States to to develop and direct the operations of an enterprise in which the foreign national has invested, or is in the process of investing, a substantial amount of capital.
The E2 visa holder (and dependents) may remain in the US as long as the eligibility for the visa continues.
